Sales Across the Region Continued to Sizzle!
Down 21 percent from 2015, Columbus Realtors had 6,270 home listed for sale in August. “When asked what the single most important factor that they believed limited their buyers from purchasing a property so far this year, 92 percent said difficulty finding the right property (low inventory),” the report said. Climbing 5.5% from 2015 the median sale prices in Central Ohio reach $174,000. Growing to $204,628 the average sale prices was up 3.3%.
The Columbus Realtors trade group covers eight counties, parts of another 12 and has 7,300 members.
