New Custom Built Home Completed – “Ranch In The Woods”

The Coppertree Homes Team put the finishing touches on a new custom ranch home, in the Plain City area.  This project began when the client found a rare, wooded homesite complete with a quant pond.  There was an existing, abandoned home on the property, which had to be demolished before construction could begin on the new custom home.

Custom Home Built To Suit The New Owners

The home was personalized for this soon-to-be empty-nest family, complete with a detached 3 car, barn-style garage.  The home was positioned on the lot to maximize the views of the pond, the wooded surroundings, and the in-ground pool.  While they are making the move to downsize, they wanted to be sure not to cut corners with quality construction and had a vision that the home would offer unique and timeless features.  Examples are: the barrel roll ceiling with thin brick finish at the formal foyer, the two-sided fireplace that shares the beauty of the fireplace with the rear covered porch and the custom made barn door that allows them to separate the owner’s suite and family entrance when entertaining guests.

The home boasts 4 bedrooms, a home office privately tucked from the bustling heart-of-the home, and an open kitchen.  The kitchen is tastefully done in neutral colors with a large walk-in pantry, plus has perfect views of the dining hall, great room, and the pool.

The lower level has a rustic meets urban feel with the one-of-a-kind epoxy paint finish on the floor and a small, open bar area complete with another barrel roll ceiling and custom shelving.

We proudly handed the completed home to the clients in March of 2019 and wish them many years of good fortune there.
